Mark,

Oof, I got so carried away I left out the link to the page I was looking at.

https://epics.anl.gov/docs/GSWE.php

The videos that you linked look helpful; I’ll start watching them today.

Hi Greg,

I am not sure which videos you are referring to?  There are training videos here:

https://epics.anl.gov/docs/APS2014.php

https://epics.anl.gov/docs/APS2015.php

https://www.bnl.gov/nsls2/epics/

These are all linked to from here:

Hi folks,

While I was browsing around EPICS stuff again today, trying to get my brain wrapped around the general concepts and terminology, that the videos have been removed.  Apparently, this happened sometime before January 25, 2019, as that’s the oldest version I could find on the wayback machine.  Given how good VLC et. Al. are these days, I thought I’d see if I could figure out the technical issues, and maybe get them converted.  Are these so outdated as to make this a waste of effort?  If not, does anybody have a video they want to dig up and send me/send me a link to, so that I can see what I can accomplish?

     Greg
