I forgot to say that I was building the RPM for EDM. Anyway, I had this idea of removing “libungif” from linking, it compiled and the edm binary is working, I will test it with GUI and see how it performs.

Hi

 

Has anybody built EDM successfully on Rocky Linux or at least any RHEL 8 distro? The build cannot find “libungif.so” which was part of giflib on CentOS 7 but not any more on Rocky Linux. Even the github repo https://github.com/mirrorer/giflib shows nothing related to libungif and the SourceForge repo is empty https://sourceforge.net/projects/libungif/ . The lowest version of giflib on Rocky Linux available is 5.1.4 which is the latest version on the github repo. Any advice?
