Hi Keith –
There are some EPICS modules that are in conda, but they use a variant of e3 (which is a variant of PSI’s require module) for their build, packaging, and configuration. We are using
them for some prototype work at ESS.
These are currently hosted on an ESS-hosted artifactory. If you have any questions about this and if this might suit your needs, we could probably arrange a short meeting to discuss
this.
Cheers,
Simon

Subject: Adding EPICS modules to conda-forge
At LIGO we have started using conda for Debian, Rocky Linux workstations and soft IOCs.
Several EPICS packages are already on conda-forge , like epics-base, epics-extensions, etc
In particular, the ‘pcas’ module that used to be part of EPICS base in older versions is not available.
So is anyone coordinating EPICS package requests to conda-forge?
I would like to see pcas, asyn, modbus, calc, opcua
