Hej Ray,

>Can SIMM and related fields be used effectively for motor records ?

No, not to my understanding.

The motorRecord and it’s underlying driver support does not

do any good job in simulating motion.

Yes!

Hi,

Can SIMM and related fields be used effectively for motor records, or would I be best served by using something like motorMotorSim (https://github.com/epics-motor/motorMotorSim)?

Thank you,

Ray
