Hi, I’m using (Eclipse-based) CS-Studio 4.5.9 on Windows, and 4.8.1 within the ITER CS Red Hat installation. I’m experiencing the same problem for both – when the number of samples in the waveform trace exceeds 2046, the OPI becomes very erratic and fails to display any further data. Also, the IOC typically fails at the same time. When this happens, CS-Studio repeatedly shows the error: 2023-11-08 14:01:51 ERROR: Error from pv connection layer:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: transport closed If CS-Studio is not displaying the OPI, the IOC behaves perfectly for any number of samples. I’ve also tested the behaviour when using Phoebus, instead of CS-Studio - both the OPI and the IOC then work perfectly. Does anyone have suggestions as to how this problem might be resolved?
