Including display information in NTTables

Hi again :)


I decided to split this question into a separate email, since it's
unrelated to my previous question.

With scalar and waveform PVs accessed over CA and PVA, display
information (mainly PREC for CA, and PVA has precision and form) is
transferred over the wire, allowing clients to simply use the
information provided by an IOC to best present the received data. We use
PREC extensively in our own GUIs.

However, the NTTable spec [1], group schema [2] and pvinfo output don't
include any display information. Is there some way to specify it? Or is
it a missing feature?
