1.) Who joined the EPICS collaboration after the JLab? (And when?)
Duke Free Electron Laser Laboratory at Duke University was an early one, around 1994. At that point, LANL, APS, Superconducting Super Collider, Berkeley National Lab, and CEBAF (JLab) and maybe a few others were already involved.
3.) When was the switch to the open license?
4.) Is there a timeline for the publishing of the versions?
5.) Are there some other important milestones, i.e. first version that runs on an x86?
Marty Kraimer drafted a history of the EPICS V4 initiative that led to EPICS 7 . . .
