Hello, EPICS mates,
There are multiple CA clients on different computers across the network.
A PV got modified erroneously, and nobody admits he did.
How to know which CA client(IP address) modified a PV in EPICS version 3.14.
I searched and got two methods:
1.
use
Wireshark or tcpdump
to trace capture CA write packets.
2.
modify EPICS Base(
rsrv/caserver.c ) to insert log hooks.
(This may not be doable.)
What other methods do you use or recommend?
