I can answer your first question.
I wrote a driver for the ZWO cameras for a projekt with special needs. As these cameras do not have a hardware trigger
the code contains currently some pieces that refer to special hardware that we tested to get a trigger into our PC.
I need to prepare a cleaned up version for publication.

Do you need the camera to be triggered by hardware or is a software trigger good enought for your project?
