Hey Heinz,

we have an Edwards nXDS 15i and it is controlled via streamdevice.
This pump is roughly 12 years old.

In the product catalog from Edwards it says:

> Serial communication remote
> Option of either RS232 or RS485 with a choice of Edwards’ proprietary 
> ‘DX’ protocol or industry standard
> Modbus protocol. A USB port has been included for service use only
So it seems you can choose between the DX protocol (probably the one we 
are using with streamdevice with the "?V808\cr” command) or Modbus.
