"linStat" is an epics support module I have worked on for the past year or so.
It is meant to be a Linux-only alternative to iocStats, providing much more
depth than iocStats, at the cost of being highly OS specific.
The extra information includes:
- swap usage and page fault counters
- CPU usage, including time spent in ISR
- Forced context switch counters
- IP package counters, system-wide and per-interface
- File system usage
- malloc() stats
- Maximum temperature and sensor name
For example, network packet counters, page fault counts, and maximum temperature.
It also installs separate database files for host, IOC process, file system, and
network interface.
Where there is overlap, linStat provides the same record names as iocStats.
