Good evening, all -
I’ve been digging into EPICS and have decided to attempt some practical hardware setup. I have a SBC running Linux (CentOS6, but that can change) with a PC/104 bus interface and a handful of PC68/PC78 boards.
I’ve installed EPICS and built asyn, motor, etc. and am now looking at working with the OMS boards. I have one question, though. All the documentation I’ve come across for the OMS cards references the RS-232 interface. Is it possible for EPICS to communicate with them over the PC/104 bus, and if so, are there any pointers to documentation that might be helpful?
