Dear all,
we are using OMS MAXnet controllers with the motorOmsAsyn ioc.
The stepper motors move translation states, which are only equipped with
limit switches at the end (so no encoders or home-switches).
What is the intended procedure to home the stage in this case?
I would expect something like:
1) Stage is at some unknown position
2) Do HomeR
3) Stage moves into lower limit switch
4) VAL/DVAL/RVAL report some value
5) Reset VAL or DVAL or RVAL to 0 (without moving the motor of course)
