Hello Jatin,

I assume it is installed using install_scripts/single_machine_install.sh, for beginner, probably the following points can be taken into account,

1. The web page URL should be something like http://the_ip_address:17665/mgmt/ui/index.html

2. tomcat_instances/mgmt/logs/catalina.err can typically track errors when starting up

3. From Archiver Appliance v2.2.0, Tomcat must be version 10 or above

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am trying to install the EPICS Archiver on Ubuntu Linux 22.04 LTS, but I am facing issues accessing it after deployment.

My current setup is as follows:

• EPICS Base: R7.0.9
• OpenJDK: 17 (openjdk-17-jdk)
• Apache Tomcat: 9.0.117
• Archiver packages used:
  • archappl_v1.1.0.tar.gz
  • archappl_v2.2.1.tar.gz

Despite following the installation steps, I am unable to access the archiver through the web interface. Every time I try to open the webpage, I receive a 404 error.

As I am a beginner with EPICS Archiver, I may be missing some configuration steps or dependencies. I would really appreciate your guidance in resolving this issue and successfully completing the installation.

Kindly help me with the correct procedure or suggest any troubleshooting steps.
