Oggetto: epics-modules opcua + open62541

Hi all,

For an internal project, a customer is going to provide us an interface based on OPC-UA on which commands are exposed as instances of dedicated function block classes representing command objects. Each command is modeled as an OPC-UA object exposing an Execute() method and a set of variables representing the command status and the execution status. OPC-UA client will use the Execute() method to trigger the internal command.

Inside EPICS modules (OPC-UA and/or Open62541), we haven’t found any implementation related to that kind of methods.

Is this correct ?

Is there any workaround to use such a method ?

Thanks in advance
