Dear all,

MVME6100E was discontinued some time ago. This time the following
products will be discontinued;

MVME2500-0108010E/MVME2500-01080101S
MVME2502-02120201E/MVME2502-021201S/MVME2502-021CC-2
MVME31006E-1152/MVME31006E-1263
MVME4100-0173-2GF
MVME55006E-0161R/MVME5506E-0163R
MVME7100-0173-2GF
Last order: 2024.03.15 (depending on the component availabilities)
Last delivery: 2024.12
No successor products considered.

I wrote this as I thought it might impact some of you. And I observed that
the Japanese vendor has relatively direct access to product information
since Motorola time.

Recards,
Kazuro

They also have a Legacy Products page (with a picture that looks like an MVME6100 on it) which links to a company called GDCA for obtaining older parts. There are lots of MVME devices listed by GDCA, but I'm going to guess they won't be cheap or quick to buy from GDCA.

The TSI-148 (Tempe) chip could be the component with limited availability, and that would explain why they'd stop selling all of their remaining MVME CPUs.
