Another bit of data. I see a higher maximum event rate limit when I
reverse the situation and run the example portable server on Linux and
the caEventRate program on windows. This seems to be 100% limited by CPU
consumption of the portable server on Linux, but we may also be
approaching the limits imposed by the bandwidth of the network card and
its driver on this particular PC based Linux system.
100 KHz * ( 16 byte CA header plus 8 bytes data ) = 2.4 MBps = 19.2 Mbps
