Perhaps a question should be sent to tech-talk asking how many sites
are planning to continue using HPUX?
I thought we had agreed on dropping HP support when switch to the
next major release. But if there's reason enough to change that
position - ok with me, of course, as it saves a lot of unpleasant work.
I really don't think we can drop HPUX support at R3.14.7, since there
are known bugs in it and we'd be leaving any HPUX sites that are using
R3.14 high and dry. The only point of doing a tech-talk survey would
be to determine if there are any such sites, which may be worth doing
but I suspect the answer will be yes.
I had a feeling I wouldn't get rid of it that easy. Damn. At least I
tried. Halfheartedly, but I did.
