I think that beacons are going out properly. Here's what casw reports when the IOC starts up:

At that point many MEDM screens connected right away, but one took about a minute or so. 
Could this be a caRepeater problem?

It appears that at least part of the problems I am having on my Windows IOCs is that without setting EPICS_CAS_BEACON_ADDR_LIST no beacons were 
being sent.  Once I set this, then preliminary tests show much faster
reconnects.

Just for the record, I see this problem from solaris MEDM sessions to
R3.14.10 Coldfire/RTEMS IOCs too.
Not all the time, but once in a while, widgets stay white for 3 or 4
minutes after the IOC has completed iocInit().
