Getting ASIO to build, and combining the unit tests, was reasonably straight forward. The problem I've run into is that ASIO uses the newer name lookup functions like getnameinfo() instead of the (apparently) deprecated gethostbyname(). Unfortunately RTEMS doesn't implement them, so I'll have to find or write a wrapper.
Out of curiosity do any vxWorks versions implement: getnameinfo, getaddrinfo, freeaddrinfo, and gai_strerror?
