What do you mean by "support"?  NTNDArrays are certainly N-dimensional.  Do you want the API to allow extracting rows/columns, etc.?

So - bottom line - the PVD/PVA APIs only support one-dimensional arrays, and everything else has to be arranged on the application layer.
That's going to be a bit of a tough sell.
