As part of work on adding/extended the access control facilities
of PV Access, I'm adding an OSI abstraction to map a user account
name to a list of group/role names.
https://github.com/epics-base/pvAccessCPP/pull/136
I'd like to ask for some help in testing some of the cases I can't
so easily test myself.
To assist with this I've added the showauth executable. This isn't
installed, but can be found under testApp. eg.
> $ ./testApp/O.linux-x86_64/showauth

Some test results I'd like to have.
1. Windows standalone
2. Windows domain member
3. Linux with NIS, LDAP, ... (anything other than /etc/group)
4. Linux with something other than glibc
5. Mac
6. Solaris (less important)
In all cases, the first question is whether it builds and runs at all.
Then whether it prints any group names.
With Linux and Mac, I'm interested to know how the result, and
execution time, of "showauth" compares to running "groups $USER".
With Windows, I'm interested what is actually reported, and whether it
would be useful as a condition in in an ACF file.
