Hi Michael,

> recGblRecordError() isn't often used. The unique part is the trailing "ReadOut".

ReadOut is the second enum choice in this record, which is a GenICam feature of that camera.

record(mbbo, "$(P)$(R)GC_TriggerOverlap") {
  field(DTYP, "asynInt32")
  field(OUT,  "@asyn($(PORT),$(ADDR=0),$(TIMEOUT=1))GC_E_TriggerOverlap")
  field(DOL,  "0")
  field(ZRST, "Off")
  field(ZRVL, "0")
  field(ONST, "ReadOut")
  field(ONVL, "1")
  field(DISA, "0")
}

My client is writing the string "ReadOut" to that PV. It works fine when the frame rate is less than 100 frames/s.

Something is going wrong for this record at higher frame rates. But acquisition is supposed to have stopped when the client writes to that PV, so the frame rate should not matter. Adding 0.1 delay in the client before writing that value does not seem to help.

I'll try to figure out where recGblRecordError() is being called.

Thanks,
Mark

The string "PV: " doesn't appear in Base nearly as often as you might think.

recGblRecordError() isn't often used. The unique part is the trailing "ReadOut".
That's not in Base.
