I think we concluded that this issue is related to older versions of
MinGW, and that using the -D__USE_MINGW_ANSI_STDIO flag is as far as
we're going to go. That has been in place since January, so I am marking
this bug as fixed.

  It seems that mingw does not like "%lld".
