Title:
Support LP64 data model on vxWorks 6.9
Status in EPICS Base:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
The vxWorks 6.9 release (March 2011) supports some 64-bit Intel CPUs
with the LP64 data model (i.e. both longs and pointers are 64 bits
wide). The libCom/osi/os/vxWorks code will probably not build/work
properly in this case, it may assume that those are both 32-bit.
This work is separate and probably simpler than the conversion to
support SMP on vxWorks.
