I am curious if there is a mechanism in the EPICS build for handling
different SDR files for different platforms (CAMAC, VXI, and VME).
Each platform requires different devSup.ascii/drvSup.ascii files
but it doesn't look like the current build mechanism supports this.
I can easily add this but I wanted to see if I was reinventing the wheel.
One fairly easy fix is to create a new ascii directory for each
platform (share/ascii_vme, share/ascii_vxi, etc) and modify share/sdr/makefile
to use these directories to create the default SDR files. I haven't looked
at the makefile in detail to see if this is all that is needed but it
seems like a workable solution.
