At LANSCE, we use the Kinetic Systems 3924 serial lam grader, which just sets
the slot number of the module in the demand message.  In our system, we are not
too concerned with prioritizing the LAM's, but if we were this means we would
have to arrainge our modules so the highest priority LAM was in slot 1, the
next lowest in slot 2, etc.

The camac software (/Epics/camac.tar) at our anonymous ftp site
(thoth.atdiv.lanl.gov) contains (in the /dev directory) the device support
routine (devLgCamacK3924.c) for the KS3924.  We don't really have a "lam grader
record", but instead use the routine, k3924_LamGrader (called before iocInit)
to declare the crate & slot numbers of all the lam graders, so that they will
be initialized as part of the crate setup.
