Subject: archiving with sdds

Hi,

I'm using sdds to archive data coming from EPICS records.
I want to write PV readback values to a file using the sddsmonitor
function, but I also want that the monitored PV values are saved
only when they change more than a delta (ie apply option like glitch to
all the monitored PV
and not only one of them).
For the moment, the only solution I've found is to launch several
sddsmonitor with the same input file 'glitched' on different PV and
writting in the same output file. Is there simple meaning to do that.

Another question : is it possible to archive string data type (state
name in this case) in a sdds file. these datas come from a stringin
record.

Thanks in advance,
Regard,
                                                            Fred
