Hi,
We are developing a new record called a beamLife record, which reads
a value of stored current in the ring and its timestamp and calculate
beam life time (or decay constant of stored beam current) in real-time.
I wrote prototype program using Python on WS and fixed its algorithm.
My colleague, Mr. Susumu Yoshida, converted it to a record support
routines for EPICS. In the Python program, I uses dbf_type_to_DBR_TIME
macro to get data with a time stamp in ca_get_array_callback call.
It gives us a value of beam current with the time of data taken.
In the record support routine for this beamLife record, I tried
the dbGetLink function with DBR_TIME option. It is supposed return
the value of record and TIME_STAMP of it in a data structure.
The data link we used in CA_LINK and we got incorrect TIME_STAMP data
in the structure. Loooking at the code of dbGetLinkValue() function,
I found that the function just ignore the value of poption variable
passed by caller for CA_LINK type link.
Is there any good way to get the data and its TIME_STAMP
in the record support routine through a CA_LINK?
Thanks in advance,
