I just received an MVME162-P344E. I have an unrelated question regarding
how to program vxWorks into the Flash. I left the board in its factory
configuration of jumpers and switches and tried the example they give in the
manual of programming the Bug debugger into the Flash. I am working from
memory now, but I think the command was
pflash 8000000:800000 FFA00000
Bug printed out the addresses which would be programmed and they looked
correct. However, it then gave an error something like:
pflash error in address range

I am sure I typed exactly what was in the manual. I also tried programming
vxWorks from RAM to Flash using exactly the instructions which used to work
on the old MVME162. I got the same error.

What do I need to change from the factory default to allow Flash progamming
to work?
