The "et_wish" we are currently using comes from an EPICS extension
called "caTCL". Some code changes are dated 2000.
I believe that "etca.c" is part of an older EPICS extension called tcl_et?
So it would probably be worth getting hold of "caTCL".

We are linking against:
tcl 8.3.4
tk 8.3.4
BLT 2.4u
We don't really have an expanse of applications so I could not comment
on performance improvement etc. All I can say is that the
examples we have tried appear to work with these new versions of Tcl/Tk.
Cheers,
Andy
