Dear All:

I discovered a problem with a State Notation Compiler while using it on a
host with epicsR3.13.7 and LINUX OS (Red Hat 7.3).
When I tried to run a sequence program on the mv2700 IOC, sequencer
complained:

seq my_Test

0x1d34180 (tShell): Illegal magic number in state program.
0x1d34180 (tShell):  - Possible mismatch between SNC & SEQ versions
value = 0x1d34180 (-tShell):  - Re-compile your program?
1 = 0xffffffff = lptr + 0xfe2d5d2f

On the LINUX host snc displays exactly the same version:

usage: snc <options> <infile>
options:
  +a - do async. pvGet
  -c - don't wait for all connects
  +d - turn on debug run-time option
  -e - don't use new event flag mode
  -l - supress line numbering
  +r - make reentrant at run-time
  -w - supress compiler warnings
  -v - don't include VxWorks definitions
example:
 snc +a -c vacuum.st
gmca@px0:/home/gmca/epics/synApps/xxx 69 >

I tried to recompile epics base but this did not resolve the problem.
Please send me your suggestions how to resolve the problem.
