Hi Geoff,

I'm trying, with no success, to access the EPICS cvs repository at aps.
Can someone please send me some pointers on how this works? I believe
that I just need to set some cvs environment variables and everything
should work from there. My login name might also need to be added to
the cvs configuration files at aps.
Sorry, it doesn't work like that here, the EPICS repository at APS is not
directly accessible from the internet even if you have a Base download
password. Read-only access might be possible using pserver, but we don't
have that set up and we're not currently planning to either.
External EPICS developers have to have a login account and come in through
ssh, and for various reasons we don't give such accounts out very often
(and since 2001/9/11 it's even harder to do).
Sorry. What are you trying to get to? I might be able to provide some
help if you're just wanting to browse files that are not in base.
