Hi!
I have never seen Java trying to allocate almost 1 GB of memory before.
Are you able to run ArchiveViewer via Web start?

If so, I would just recommend to build some other Java program. Please,
be kind to report your results.
Greetings,

We have spent several hours and cannot figure out what we are doing
wrong. It is on a Scientific Linux 3.0.5 with JDK 5.0 Update 6. We
have $CLASSPATH set to tools.jar and rt.jar provided by JDK 5.0, and
$JAVA_HOME set to /usr/java/jdk1.5.0_6.
Does anybody have suggestions??
