>From here (based on cmmd=13) it appears that you might have it configured so
that the UDP beacon protocol is being sent to a CA server's UDP port (to a
CA PV name directory server).
Have a look in the manual at EPICS_CAS_BEACON_PORT (which defaults to
EPICS_CA_REPEATER_PORT).
