It may
be usefull if you can give detailed information about your
situation.
Do you
tend to wrap the driver provided by the vender in your EPICS
application?
Is
there any existing EPICS device driver for your hardware?
Another is to develop your own EPICS device driver instead of
wrapping the vender's
if you have enough
information.

Dear tech-talk,
I'm trying to transplant a device driver to EPICS and develop some device
suport of it. But while compiling the codes, there is such error:
../../include/Interface.h:44: error: expected constructor,destructor,or
type conversion before "(" token
The device driver is provided along with the hardware in the
format of .so and .h.
The Interface.h file contains some driver function declarations.
I wonder if the reason is that the declaration and definition of the
class are not together. But the function call of the device
driver outside EPICS works normally.
How can I solve this problem?
Thanks a lot!
