We had 12 people working on developing code and documentation, and a few APS visitors who dropped in to chat. What did we achieve? Here's my list of what we worked on, although not all items were completed by the end of the week: * General Time infrastructure integrated into Base R3.14 branch (Peter Denison and Eric Norum) * Channel Access over TCP implemented in Base R3.15 (CVS trunk) (Ralph Lange and Jeff Hill) * Extended ASYN device support, I/O address changes at runtime (Krzysztof Lazarski) * Calc Parser with variable names for use in CA with Data Access (John Synclair) * ANSIfication and cleanup of *Record.c files (John Hammonds) * Change subRecord's SNAM field at runtime (Kazimierz Gofron) * Regression Test suite automation (Artem Kazakov) * Process Notify infrastructure enhancements (Marty Kraimer) * Redundant IOC hooks (Andrew Johnson and Jeff Hill) * R3.14 Record Reference manual wiki pages (Kazimierz Gofron) * Record DBD to HTML/Wiki table conversion (John Hammonds) * ProcServ Enhancements from Dave Thompson (Ralph Lange) * ASYN design for single-use TCP circuits (HTTP etc.) (Eric Norum) * MakefileInclude elimination (Janet Anderson) * Build system patches to Base from Diamond and BESSY (Janet Anderson) After the success of this experience, we *will* be doing it again... - Andrew -- When a distinguished but elderly scientist states that something is possible, he is almost certainly right. When he states that something is impossible, he is very probably wrong. -- Arthur C. Clarke
