Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System

Hi,
I would like to introduce CAML which stands for Channel Access Markup Language. It is a XML based language for describing and displaying channel access controls. The controls can be displayed from within modern, standards compliant web browsers such as Firefox and Safari and runs on Linux, Mac and Windows. It supports channel access through the Web CA plugin and calls to its _javascript_ API which wraps the standard C-based channel access client libraries.
Note that the current distribution is a preview release. We will soon begin the next phase of development which will replace the current CAML XML language with a more powerful XHTML language.
I would like to acknowledge the good work done by Matej and his team at Cosy Lab who work on this project.
