I found the bug.
> Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

> at ../StreamFormatConverter.cc:281
> 281 value[0] = '\0';
The assignment value[0] = '\0'; should not happen when the format is ignored
like in %*1c and hence value=NULL. I will fix that.
The bug happens when %*s or %*c are used to ignore input which happens to be an
empty string.
