For anyone else who wants to use Linux to build vxWorks 5.5.x target code I
have recently built a new set of cross-compiler tools from Wind River's latest
GCC sources for the PowerPC (40x/60x/860, not e500) and MC68x0 CPU families.
The resulting binaries, GCC sources and my build scripts are available from a
new page on the EPICS website:
