All,
With reference to the
MAXv card #Disabled message, I was in contact with Prodex a little while ago, and they introduced a bug in single axis mode thus:
I can confirm that in your FW1.42 the #WS does not work in single axis mode. It still works in AA/AM mode.
This was unintentional and we will provide a fix shortly.
It was fixed in 1.43.

Hello Qisheng,
With regard to the "***MAXv card #Disabled*** Watchdog Timeout CTR =" error message,
I posted this message to tech-talk describing the problem.
What is the serial # of your MAXv board?

Dear all,
I have a similar behavior as the thread
http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/tech-talk/2010/msg00906.php which posted at 2010. But it occurs when I change the field UEIP anytime. At first, I wrote the UEIP in the motor template, the message “drvMAXv.cc:motorIsr: command error ? card 00” will cause the
ioc initialize failed. After remove the field in the db field, the ioc can be loaded successfully and running without problem. But I have encoder, so when I set UEIP to Yes or No, the message come out in console, while the ioc do not crash, and the encoder
works also.
By the way, I also saw the timing problem when ioc boot, I got the message like "***MAXv card #Disabled*** Watchdog Timeout CTR ="
The controller is a mvme5500 running with vxworks, Tornado 2.6. The version of motor is 6-7-1. Any suggestion to remove these messages is appreciated.
Best Regards,
Qisheng
