Version 3.2.3 of pyepics has been released and is available from http://cars9.uchicago.edu/software/python/pyepics or from the github repository http://github.com/pyepics/pyepics Pyepics is a Python wrapping of Epics Channel Access, providing simple caget()/caput() functions, a python PV object, and access to the lower-level functions in the Channel Access C API. Though it's been more than a year since the last complete release, Version 3.2.3 is mostly a bug-fix release, with a number of small fixes to code (including the bug in timestamps recently found by Eric Norum) and documentation. Multiprocessing is now supported (thanks Ken Lauer), and several Devices have been added or expanded. Pyepics is tested on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X with python versions 2.6, 2.7, and 3.2. If you have any comments, questions, suggestions, or bug reports, let me know. --Matt Newville <newville at cars.uchicago.edu
