Hey all,
for the adjustment and feedback loop of one of our power supplies, we
need digital potenitometers and ADCs.
Both have a I2C interface. So our idea was to connect them to one I2C
interface of a Beaglebone Black.
Does anyone have already a device support for I2C?
If not:
My idea would be to use the asyn package and write an asynPortDriver
with an asynOctet interface,
so one could use for instance streamDevice to implement the
communication with the ADC or digipoti.
Also I have written a simple device support to use the GPIOs of a
Beaglebone Black and Raspberry Pi
via the /sys/class/gpio interface.
I would like to upload the sources to github. Is it possible to upload
it to the "epics-modules" group?
Best regards,
Florian
