I see no errors, at least for the MCA build.

Is the mca.mexglx generated file found in the current folder (or
subfolders)? You just need to tell Matlab where this file and
mca/matlab subfolder are at..

Couple of weeks ago I tried MCA 4-4 with 64-bit Linux Mint Matlab
2016a. Worked nicely, no issues.
