By meaning ArchiverEngine, I guess you are referring to Archiver Appliance?
If yes, you can simply download the pre-built binary from
https://github.com/slacmshankar/epicsarchiverap/releases/
There is a Quick Start how to run it on RHEL/CentOS for your testing purpose.

Once you get your data archived, you can easily configure CS-S, and browse your history data.
You do not have to compile it yourself.
The answer might be different if you want to use RDB based archiver.

I downloaded a pre-compiled version of CSS from https://ics-web.sns.ornl.gov/css/. But
I can't find where is ArchiveEngine executable file. Need I download the source code from github and compile it to get ArchiveEngine file? My system is CENTOS7.
