I have two IOCs running on the same Linux machine. I'm linking one IOC PV to the other IOC using CP in the link specification.
I'm curious of how are the PV data is routed between the two IOCs. Does it leave the machine and is routed through the network?
FWIW, the iocsh of an IOC reports that it is connecting to the PV on the NIC interface (IP), not localhost.
