I have what I hope is a quick question about StreamDevice:
For protocols that parse a response with multiple values and use
Protocol arguments to specify the names of several records that the
values are written to, is there any way to update the STAT and SEVR
fields for ALL the affected records, not just the one that called the
protocol via its INP field?
If there is no way to get the StreamDevice layer to do this, how about
some record logic to do so?
I tried to simply copy the STAT and SEVR values to other records using a
seq record processed via an FLNK , but not surprisingly that just
generates "Attempt to modify noMod field PV" errors.
