Subject: RE: Opening opi/bob files into display mode from the terminal
Hi Jakub,
I examined what is implemented at Diamond for launching a css opi file from the terminal.
The css switch "--launcher.openFile" seems to be the crucial one.
The many options are wrapped in a 200-line shell script that ends in this invocation:
$CSSTUDIO $eclipse_args $plugin_preferences $local_links_args $dev_args $data_args $xmi_args --launcher.openFile "$runfile $macros_escaped $links_escaped" $vm_args
The sources are here

Best wishes,
Ronaldo
I was wondering if it is possible with either CSS or phoebus to start an individual
screen directly into display mode from the terminal. I think this is a nice feature from
MEDM, where I can start the IOC and screen with one command, which comes in
particularly useful when developing.
Basically, I'd like to make a repo with some common development screens that I can clone and
run without setting up a workspace or opening edit mode.
