EPICS-MODBUS plus SNC Sequencer in and IOC

Hey EPICS masters, 

I'm stuck. As the subject suggests, I'm trying to create an application to communicate with a DL205 plc via Modbus TCP and control via a state machine.

I've not been able to get the modbusApp testIOC running. I've followed the instructions and suggestions in the docs. Having configured a TCP driver in Koyo1.cmd, and checked RELEASE for the correct paths, running ./st.cmd closes silently. 

How do I make use of the .template files to create the database for the sequencer?
