I am not sure what you mean by LightField 4/5.3. Do you mean you have tried both version 4 and version 5.3?
It appears that you are running a very old version of LightField, 5.3 is from 2015. The ADLightfield RELEASE.md file says for R2-5 (January 2018) that the version of LightField supported is 6.4. We are currently
using LightField 6.13.1 and it works fine.
You need to update to a recent version of LightField if you want to use ADLightField.

Hello,
I installed the areaDetector and the included ADLightField intended to control the spectrometer SCT320 and CCD-PIMAX4 512 (both are Princeton Instruments and can be controlled by LightField which have been tested). When I execute the command:
..\..\bin\windowns-x64\LightFieldApp.exe st.cmd
then the software LightField page start, but a dialog pops up said: LightFiled has stopped working.
After then, another dialog pops up: AddInProcess.exe has stopped working. I Look into the detail of the description on it, I found System.DllNotFoundException.
I do not know if this error caused by some dll files missing, if so which dll files I missed and how to solve it?
After closing the dialogs (which prompts AddInProcess.exe has stopped working), in the command window that show information related to EPICS there prompts:
System.Runtime.Remoting.RemotingException: Failed to read from an IPC Port. The pipe has been ended...
I donnot know how to solve these situations, and need helps.
